Install Easy Helpdesk

Install the package in Joomla and confirm the component menus appear.

Install Easy Helpdesk from the package ZIP through System, Install, Extensions.

After install

1. Open Components, Easy Helpdesk and confirm the Dashboard loads.
2. Check System, Manage, Extensions that the component is enabled.
3. Create portal menu items for Portal, Submit Ticket, My Tickets, and Knowledge Base.

Optional sample data

Sample departments, tickets, and knowledge articles are not installed automatically. Use Install sample data on the Dashboard when you want a demo desk, or Reset all data later for a clean start.

Requirements

• Joomla 4 or 5
• PHP version supported by your Joomla release
• MySQL or MariaDB with the component SQL applied
