Download the package from your JoomlaX account, then install the module zip in System > Install.

After install, open Content > Site Modules, create a Responsive Accordion module, choose Slides or Joomla Articles, and publish it to a menu item.

Older builds showed only intro text. If your article uses a Read More split, the body lived in full text.

Version 1.8.6 combines intro and full text by default. Set Article Text to Intro and Full Text, save, and hard-refresh. Empty panels usually mean both fields are blank in the editor.

Yes. Enable Include Child Categories and set how many levels deep to walk.

Select a parent category when you want every published child FAQ in one accordion without listing each subcategory manually.

Search works for both sources. Category pills use slide Category fields or Joomla category titles in article mode.

Turn on Show Search Box and Enable Category Filters in General Settings. Expand All and Collapse All appear in accordion mode.

Enable URL Anchors so opening a panel updates the page hash.

Copy Link (when enabled) copies a shareable URL that reopens the same panel on load. Works for slides and article panels.

Use Slides for hand-written panels, or Joomla Articles to pull from categories (FAQs, surname directories, and similar).

Article selection

Choose which articles appear. Filters and Load more only work on articles that are included here.

How articles load

Standard puts all matching articles in the page HTML (simple, fine for smaller lists). Ajax loads one page at a time when visitors change filters, search, or click Load more (better for 100+ stories).

Inside each article panel

Control the text, images, and meta shown when a visitor opens a panel.

Theme

Pick a preset look, then optionally tune the accent colour or add scoped CSS.

Title typography

Font size and weight for panel titles (and tab labels in Tabs mode).

Custom colours

Used only when Style Preset is Custom colours.

SEO and developer options
